After the assassination of Charlie Kirk, many concerned citizens have asked how they can get involved with our county Republican Party.  We have many Committees and Teams from Election Integrity and Communications to our Faith Team and our Military/Veterans Team. If you would like to become a member of our Executive Committee, you can apply to become a Precinct Committeeman or Woman.  Please see the volunteer opportunities below, then go to:  www.hillsborough.gop/volunteer to sign up and you will be contacted to discuss your interests.   

Our Committees

Communications Committee - includes the Messaging Team, Faith Team, and the Military/Veterans Team.  The Messaging Team includes maintaining our social media accounts, publishing monthly newsletters, and developing messaging to our voters.  The Faith Team develops outreach opportunities to the faith community and the communities they serve.  The Team monitors the activity of our Hillsborough County School Board and coordinates Calls to Action as necessary.  The Military/Veterans Team is the liaison with military and veteran organizations, and represents our party at the Tampa Gun Shows.   

Election Integrity Committee - monitors elections, voter registrations, analyzes election and registration data, and coordinates poll watching efforts. 

Fundraising Committee - plans and executes activities that generate the financial support necessary to advance Republican principles, elect Republican candidates, and sustain county party operations. 

Get Out The Vote (GOTV) Committee - Coordinates our presence at community events to conduct voter registration and disseminate information, gets Republicans to the polls, and coordinate activities with candidates.  

Legislative Committee - tracks legislation status and coordinates calls to action to our voters. 

Precinct Development Committee - Are you interested in becoming a Precinct Committee Member?

In Florida, the County Republican Executive Committee (REC) is the grassroots of the political party organization.  Some of the duties of Precinct Committee members include:

• Attending all REC meetings
• Maintain a strong precinct organization
• Assist, as appropriate, in fundraising activities, voter registration, phone banks, and Door-to-Door activities
• Encourage poll workers, precinct captains, and all registered Republicans in the precinct to participate in Republican activities
• We provide training to all new Precinct Committee Members

   Liberty Links Golf Tournament   

Thank you to our sponsors, golfers, and volunteers who supported our first annual Liberty Links Invitational Golf Tournament on September 22, 2025, at the Temple Terrace Golf & Country Club.   It was a wonderful event. We will see you next year!

The latest Supervisor of Elections data reveals that Republicans have taken the lead in voter registrations in Hillsborough County.  But, we cannot become complacent.  We can easily lose our lead.  In 2026, there will be School Board, County Commission, and State Legislator elections.  In addition, there will be elections for House of Representatives, and Statewide elections for Senator, Governor, Attorney General and Chief Financial Officer.   Please use this link RegistertoVoteFlorida.gov to check that your registration is active, change your party affiliation, and that your name and address are correct*.

 There are many Republican Clubs throughout Hillsborough County.  Please go to hillsborough.gop/clubs to check out the many opportunities available to attend a club meeting to meet like-minded people, hear from informative speakers, and find out how you can get involved with the upcoming elections.
